Sylvie and Jean met while teaching at Paris-Sud University, now Paris-Saclay. A deep friendship blossomed at the Cachan University Institute of Technology (IUT): she taught communication, he taught electrical engineering. Now retired, they both devote themselves to painting and participate respectively in the Fine Arts Workshops of the City of Paris and the Savoir/Dessiner Paris workshops. During discussions about their respective work, the idea arose to exhibit together: together, because they share a particular sensitivity to spaces and their transformations, to movement and dance, to the emotions born from the imagination created through the use of techniques and colors. Synchronizing also means adapting reality, framing to make diverse environments and varied temporalities coincide and correspond, ultimately imbuing the created image with poetry.
